Emma Reed (4 years old) says that this Babson surge is her favorite insulator because it is little just like me, She calls it her "piggy-honk". Her other favorite things include:

"Thank your very much for the insulators.
I loved them. You gave me one that
Bill (Rohde) did not have! Isn't that cool?
I thought it was."
Jenna Lewis

''I'd like to thank you for the insulators.
My favorite is the aqua
Mickey Mouse insulator."
Devin Hayes

"Thank you for the Brookfield book.
I really like it.
My favorite is on page 58
(CD 1142 - johnny ball)."
Cindy Roseberry

Crown Jewels continues to ship out about one box of insulators every week to beginning insulator collectors under the age of 18. The insulators are free. We just ask the kids, or their parents / grandparents, to pay for the shipping.

The insulators (and / or cash to buy insulators) are donated by collectors all around the country. We wish to thank Bill Plunkett, Nathan Lamkey, Bill Pottichen and Dave Campbell for making some recent donations. If you'd like to make a contribution to the Insulators for Kids program, contact the editor. We especially need donations of purple insulators that are not too badly damaged. This is your opportunity to promote your hobby to the next generation.

Crown Jewels also sends insulator reference books free to kids who contribute photographs and art work to Kids Korner. Books on Brookfield insulators, Hemingray insulators, and back issues of Crown Jewels are available. So keep those pictures coming kids!
